Being an architectural lighting marketeer during the day gave way to nights spent in front of the flickering light of a MacSE computer. Interactivity was key - whether you were surfing sites of ill repute, or browsing an online catalog - information was available immediately, updated in real-time. The advantages for our field of endeavor became fodder for our field of dreams. We started posting architectural lighting data and products on the 'net, and developed the first interactive rep powered spec. Back to our rock God - fighting barbs from jealous fans and paranoid management, we actually started designing with goals of our client in mind. Netscape awarded us with a site design award, and we put it on our shelf right next to the Dallas Arts award for excellence in advertising in the architectural lighting arena. Symbolically, we got it. The rewards for promotion were evident - whether you are promoting products or personalities we had a knack for winning, and winning big. The explosion of the Internet found us heading up the business development of Zkey.com - a digital identity that followed you over the Internet, silently announcing your preferences to potential advertisers and content administrators. We set up partnerships and made friends with Virgin, Casio, Sprint, SLOC (Salt Lake Olympic Committee), Quallcom, and the list goes on. We were hot, and about to hit it big! Over $19 million were raised, and spent on outrageous developer salaries, lavish travel for the CEO, and the random old school video game for the staff. Crash!!! While the walls of the Internet faux economy started tumbling down, we took our mouse and high-tailed it back home. Licking our wounds and forgetting our dreams of paying off mortgages and buying Porsches, we got back to business. Thankfully, we're still here and doing what we do best. Creating marketing communications in the traditional, and non traditional sense. Give us a call, share a cigar, drop us an e-mail.
